The first piece of a series of cat wizard paintings. Each delightful little wizard will be based on the 8 schools of magic in Dungeons and Dragons.
For this first wizard I wanted the school of magic to be illusion and the overall feeling to be delight. I worked within my favorite color palette of teals and oranges. while I added many details, overall I wanted to keep the focus on the butterfly illusion and the cat's facial expression.
