I love playing DnD, and enjoy all the different settings and characters people come up with. The moment that solidified my love for Matt Mercer's storytelling specifically, was when the players got to the port city of Nicodranas, and hearing the description of the beautiful blue coast, the colorful buildings, the giant goddess shaped lighthouse, and the introduction of one of the sweetest background characters in the series.
He wrote a love letter to his players, and I wanted to create a piece of art that showcased that. I love pin ups, rainbow colors and detailed backgrounds, and poured many hours into crafting the image in my head.
